Grounds Maintenance Crew

Wakonda Club in Des Moines is currently seeking motivated individuals with positive attitudes and a strong work ethic to join our golf course maintenance crew. This job will require the performance of various duties to execute the completion of our restoration of the golf course.

These duties include but are not limited to

·         Mowing putting greens, tees, approaches & fairways.

·         Push mowing

·         Bunker raking

·         Line trimming (weed eating)

·         Stripping and sodding playing areas

·         Hand digging

·         And other various maintenance tasks

Starting pay at $16.00/hour or more if candidates have experience. 

• 40-50 hours per week through the remainder of the season.
• Looking for Employees to assist with the completion of the season beginning now through November 23^rd.  Some applicants may be eligible to work through December 23^rd.
• Wakonda Club is a private country club located on the south side of Des Moines and is the proud host of the Principal Charity Classic, a PGA TOUR Champions tournament.
