Wakonda Club provides members with exceptional culinary experiences. Beyond creating seasonal menus for the Club, the culinary team is available for private cooking classes at Wakonda Club or cooking at your place of business or home. Those with food sensitivities or allergies can feel confident their needs will be addressed during small and large dining opportunities.

TERRACE GRILL

The Terrace Grill is a modern bistro with an open kitchen, warm fireplace, brick pizza oven, and views of the golf course and downtown Des Moines. Seasonal menus provide a unique selection, with ingredients featuring the best of Iowa – La Mie bakery, La Quercia meats, USDA Prime beef, and Cheese Shop selections. Weekly Weekend features, family-friendly weeknight dinners, formal evenings Friday & Saturdays and to-go carryout service are all available through the Terrace Grill. Compliment your meal with a bottle of wine from our seasonally crafted menu.

OAK VIEW BAR
The Oak View Bar looks over #18 Green and through the trees to 801 Grand, the pinnacle of downtown Des Moines. The Oak View Bar is anything but stuffy - oak wood lines the bar that features the best of Des Moines' craft beer and spirit favorites. A curated, seasonal cocktail menu featuring member-favorites is an excellent predinner start or a place to watch the big game.

WINE CELLAR
Surrounded by cedar wine racks, candles, hundreds of wine bottles and your closest friends, this room provides a private dining experience. Seating up to 10, this room can be used for an intimate dinner or special occasion. Wine-to-go is also available for purchase through our Food and Beverage department.

LANGFORD'S
A golfer’s lounge with a storied past, Langford’s (named after course designer William Boyce Langford), is the place for a quick bite before or after a round of golf. Offering a selection of sandwiches, appetizers, and club staples, and the full bar make a hole-in-one extra special.

POOL SNACK BAR & TIKI BAR
The Tiki Bar is a pool-lover's paradise with weekly cocktail features and a large selection of alcoholic beverages with outdoor bar-top seating. Offering a variety of sandwiches/wraps, salads, kid-friendly snacks, and pizza to-go at the newly renovated Snack Bar, plan on spending your whole day poolside.

14TH STAND
Nestled between #5 green, #13 green, and #14 tee box this is no ordinary “golfer's halfway house”. Featuring a fully stocked honor system oasis, for enjoying a moment between the front and back nine, the 14th Stand is the place to take a break while on the course.
