Providing the highest level of personalized service based on basic philosophies of Wakonda Club Handbook and Training. Providing the best member/event experience wepossibly can 

Job Duties/Tasks 

Set up / breakdown banquet meeting space per Banquet Event Order instructions, including tables, table complements (salt, pepper, table linens, table settings, center pieces, dishes, silverware, audio-visual equipment), outside furniture, and all other event provisions.  
  • Provide complete service to the Banquet guests according to the Standards of Operation. 

  • Be available throughout the shift to assist Members and Guests with any questions, concerns or requests as needed. 

  • Thoroughly understand the format of a Banquet Event Order (BEO) toset-up the necessary components of the event. 

  • Maintain a high level of visibility and equal association with all Guests. 

  • The ability to set-up and tear-down events in a quick and orderly fashion 

  • Maintain the highest level of service to provide all banquet guests with a memorable experience at Wakonda Club. 

  • Abide and adhere to Wakonda Club employee handbook. 

  • Consistently perform all required duties on your project list  

  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

  • Promotes high morale and enthusiasm among staff by providing a positive and team-oriented mentality both on and off the floor.  

  • Helps all departments when in need as director by the Facilities manger 

  • Provides a high level of cooperation and communication with all allied departments of the club, such as the Food & Beverage Directors, Culinary Team, Housekeeping, etc. 

  • Responsible for how the front entrance of the club along with all patios and outdoor member areas look. 

  • Maintain the highest level of cleanliness for event space

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to withstand long periods of time on their feet and walking various distances. Must be able to deal with stressful situations in a respectable manner while ultimately correcting the problem. Employees must be flexible, hardworking, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The employee is occasionally required to walk, stand, climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift or move at least 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move 80 pounds. Education and/or Experience: 

 • High School diploma or GED equivalent desirable. 

Reports to: Facilities Director  

Rate of Pay: $14/Hour
