Home to exceptionally cared for clay courts and two omni courts, all ages and abilities enjoy the tennis experience. Open play, clinics, leagues and instruction are all offered for youth and adults – as well as pickleball!

Three pools keep members cool, as do the drinks from the Tiki Bar and ice cream treats in the Snack Bar. Member parties, Friday night movies and swim instruction make the pools lively, and complimentary poolside yoga on Sundays closes your pool week on a relaxing note!

Wakonda History

2022 marks Wakonda Club’s centennial. Through 100 years, Wakonda has stayed loyal to its generations of member families and its neighborhood communities. Hosting nationally recognized golf and tennis competitive and philanthropic tournaments and unique events has kept Wakonda as one of the storied social spots in Des Moines’ history.
